Lauri Kitsnik

Lauri Kitsnik is an associate professor at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Hiroshima University. His research interests lie at the intersection of Japanese literary and visual cultures. In particular, he has published essays on adaptation, documentary film, screenwriting and stardom. His writing has appeared in arts; Asian Cinema; Japan Review; Japanese Studies; Journal of Japanese and Korean Cinema; Journal of Screenwriting; and several edited volumes, including Women Screenwriters: An International Guide.
