Lauryn Elise Bolz

Lauryn Elise Bolz is an art and cultural historian from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in decorative arts, design history and material culture at Bard Graduate Center in New York City. Bolz researches the changing notions of gender, globalism and health through the lenses of print culture and design. She is currently studying changing interactions between text and images in late-nineteenth-century books and magazines, as well as Japanese influence on fin-de-siècle Viennese prints. Outside of her studies, she is a film enthusiast and hobbyist photographer.
