Lavinia Ban
Lavinia Ban is a fashion practitioner, researcher and educator. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca, and her research interests focus on the fashion design process, design thinking and the bodily dimension of fashion. Her career covers several academic roles: Design Department chair at Jeddah International College (Saudi Arabia) and assistant professor positions at UAD Cluj-Napoca and the University of Oradea (Romania). Her works include fashion design projects (bodywear, swimwear), articles published in journals, magazines and online platforms, conference participation and a fashion book (Fashion: Work in Progress [Cluj-Napoca: Mega Publishing House, 2013]).
