Laz Carter
Laz Carter completed his Ph.D. – entitled ‘Going “Global”: “Studio Ghibli”, “Global Anime” and the Popularisation of a “Medium-Genre”’ – at SOAS, University of London. His research interests include studies of stardom, authorship, anime and paratextual marketing materials. He also has a chapter published in the edited volume Princess Mononoke: Understanding Studio Ghibli’s Monster Princess.
