Leanne Rees
Leanne Rees is a physiotherapist who completed her Ph.D. at La Trobe University, investigating media portrayal of spinal cord injury. She is now a postdoctoral fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, investigating the discourse of hope offered by emerging therapies in the presence of the internet and media.
