Lena Kitsopoulou
Lena Kitsopoulou is a Greek actor, playwright, director, writer and singer. Her work has been presented in several Greek theatres and abroad (London and Berlin). Her play Athanasios Diakos received the award of best play at the International Heidelberger Stueckemarkt Festival in 2013. She was awarded the Best Debut Author prize in 2007 for her first short story collection Nihterides (Bats). She has also received the Best Actress award in Thessaloniki International Film Festival for the film No Sympathy for the Devil in 1997. Her plays have been translated in English, French, German, Spanish and Polish.
