Lenette Lua
Lenette Lua is a cultural producer and practice-based researcher whose practice spans curation and narration. Her curatorial practice makes references to Chinese philosophies Daoism and Confucianism to explore the possibilities of art in reconciling the interlaced and contested political, economic, social and cultural spheres through a participatory and collaborative approach. She has spoken at international conferences at the University of Warwick and the University of South Wales. With the support of the National Arts Council Singapore, she has presented her research project ‘Fungi initiative: Building a collaborative system for a more balanced education’ at the 16th ELIA Biennial Conference at Zurich University of the Arts.
