Leonie Elliott-Graves

Leonie Elliott-Graves is a Ph.D. candidate and visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London in the United Kingdom. Her research focuses on developing choice and leadership for participants with learning disabilities through drama. At Goldsmiths she teaches on the BA Culture and Performance module and delivers Prevention of Sexual Harassment workshop days for the theatre and performance studies students. She has been awarded Public Engagement Funding to complete and disseminate a ‘Safe Touch’ research project for people with disabilities living in care, which has resulted in a published set of Safe Touch Guidelines for staff and organizations and a well-attended conference in July 2017. She has over ten years’ experience developing arts practices with participants with disabilities, mental health problems and health needs.
