Leticia Blanco Muñoz

Leticia Blanco obtained her Ph.D. at King’s College London where she taught language and culture in the Modern Language Centre and GTAed for the Spanish Portuguese and Latin American Studies Department. Her thesis, ‘Revisiting the literary canon: The relevance of the women writers’ response to the discourse of the Spanish Transition and their sentimental counter-education’, has been submitted and vivaed successfully in 2019. She moved back to the south of Spain and works as a social educator. She holds two BA’s in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory and in Spanish Language and Literature, and an MA in Spanish and Latin American Culture. Her research and teaching interests are twentieth- and twenty-first-century Spain, critical discourse analysis in current affairs media and global feminisms.
