Lidia Arroyo Prieto
Lidia Arroyo Prieto holds a Master’s in Advanced Studies in Sociology (Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB) and a degree in Sociology (UAB). Between January 2011 and February 2012 she was a full-time research assistant at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (UOC, Open University of Catalonia) within the Mobile Communication, Economics & Society research programme.
During this period, mobile communication and older people was her main area of research. She also has research experience in different qualitative projects on gender issues in the labour market and the field of youth. In 2011 she was awarded the Young Sociologist Contest Prize set by the Catalan Association of Sociology, an affiliate of the Institute of Catalan Studies.
