Lígia Amâncio
Lígia Amâncio has been a tenured professor of social psychology at ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa since 2002. Her main research interests focus on gender and gender equality in highly qualified professions. She was President of the Commission for Equality and Women’s Rights between 1996 and 1998, vice president of the Foundation for Science and Technology between 2006 and 2012 and director of the Centre for Research and Social Intervention (CIS-IUL), from ISCTE between 2012 and 2016.
