Lisa Duffy is an independent scholar specializing in screen musicals. She completed her Ph.D. at Queen Mary University of London with a thesis that examined gender and sexuality in the fantasy spaces of classical Hollywood musicals. She has published on camp constructions of Disney witches and is currently researching the legacy of the Disney villain song.
