Lisa Thomas
Lisa Thomas is a research associate in media and politics at the University of Bedfordshire, UK. She has conducted several studies on media representation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the portrayal of Islam in the British media. Her doctoral research analyses the relationship between the media and state in the context of post-9/11 counter-terrorism policymaking in the United Kingdom. She has previously taught at Anglia Ruskin University, the University of Hertfordshire and Middlesex University, and is currently lecturing on the MA media programme at the University of Bedfordshire, UK.
