Lissa Paul is a professor at Brock University in the Niagara region of Canada and publishes extensively on children’s literature. She is an associate general editor of The Norton Anthology of Children’s Literature (2005) and co-editor, with Philip Nel, of Keywords for Children’s Literature (2011). A second edition is to be published in 2019, with Nina Christensen as a new co-editor. With generous funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada, Lissa has been working on the life and writing of Eliza Fenwick. Lissa’s starter book on Eliza, The Children’s Book Business: Lessons from the Long Eighteenth Century was published by Routledge in their Children’s Literature and Culture series in 2011. Eliza Fenwick (1766–1840): A Life Rewritten, will be published by the University of Delaware Press in early 2019.
