Liz Millward

Liz Millward is a professor of women’s and gender studies at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She is the author of Making a Scene: Lesbians and Community across Canada, 1964–1984 (UBC Press, 2015) and co-author, with Janice G. Dodd and Irene Fubara-Manuel, of Killing Off the Lesbians: A Symbolic Annihilation on Film and Television (McFarland, 2017). She has previously published work on Xena: Warrior Princess and, with Janice G. Dodd, Stargate SG-1, as well as several articles and book chapters on lesbian history.
