Liz Powell is the Humanities Foundation Year Degree Co-ordinator at the University of East Anglia. Her research examines representations of trauma in post-9/11 film and literary fiction. Related interests include the gendering of trauma, the relationship between trauma and space, and the function of trauma within popular cultural discourses.
