Lois de Cruz
Lois de Cruz is a lecturer at Keele University where she teaches on the MSc in counselling and psychotherapy. She is a qualitative researcher with interests in interpretative phenomenological analysis, reflexivity and creative research methods, including poetic inquiry. Before training as a counsellor, she taught English and drama for many years at a local secondary school. Lois has worked as a person-centred counsellor in a GP’s practice and in the voluntary sector. She now has a small private counselling and supervisory practice with a special interest in counselling for bereavement and loss, especially reproductive loss. For the past four years, she has been learning to play the violin and this brings her much joy.
