Lori A. Burns

Lori A. Burns is a professor and director of the School of Music at the University of Ottawa. Her work on popular music has been published in leading journals, edited collections and in monograph form (Disruptive Divas: Feminism, Identity and Popular Music, Routledge, 2002). She is the series co-editor of the Ashgate Popular and Folk Music Series (Routledge) and co-editor of two recent volumes: The Pop Palimpsest: Intertextuality in Recorded Popular Music (University of Michigan Press, 2018) and The Bloomsbury Handbook of Popular Music Video Analysis (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019).
