Lori Robison
Lori Robison is a professor of English at the University of North Dakota. Though her academic research has been most typically concerned with the construction of race in nineteenth-century American literature, she has published several articles that examine popular culture and the workings of ideology: an essay on Mildred Pierce, the novel and miniseries; an essay on the popular novel The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood; and several recent essays for The Encyclopedia of Racism in American Films (Rowman and Littlefield, 2018).
