Lucía Caro-Castaño

Lucía Caro-Castaño is a doctor in communication from the University of Cádiz, defending her thesis in 2015. She currently belongs to the Department of Marketing and Communication of the University of Cádiz as a professor of advertising and public relations. She has also taught at the University of Seville. She is currently the secretary of the Interuniversity Doctoral Program in Communication. Her work focuses on analysing how identity is built in the context of online social networks, as well as the changes that social networks introduce in brand communication, with dozens of academic publications in books and magazines. At the same time, she has worked as a communication manager in various companies.
