Lucija Ivsic
Lucija Ivsic is an emerging Croatian new media artist, researcher, composer and performer, professionally known as ŽIVA. She is currently living in Melbourne and undertaking her practice-based Ph.D. at SensiLab, Monash University. Residing at the crossroads of art, science and technology, her installations and live performances challenge the live musical performance by blurring the boundaries between the traditional roles of performer-listener and collaborating with non-human entities during live shows. She performed at some of the biggest art and music festivals such as Melbourne Design Week, Sziget (Budapest) and EXIT (Novi Sad), while her installations were exhibited at ADAF (Greece) and Current New Media (United States).
