Lucio Spaziante
Lucio Spaziante (Ph.D. in semiotics) is a senior assistant professor at University of Bologna, where he teaches media semiotics. His research interests are focused on music, youth cultures, media studies and sound and image relationship in audio-visual language. He is the author of Icone pop: identità e apparenze tra semiotica e musica (Pop Icons: Identity and Appearances, Between Semiotics and Music) (Pearson, 2016), and he edited Remix-remake: pratiche di replicabilità (Remix-Remake: Practices of Replicability) (with Nicola Dusi, Meltemi, 2006). From 2009 to 2013, he was vice president of the Italian Association of Semiotic Studies (AISS).
