Luisela Alvaray
Luisela Alvaray is an associate professor of the College of Communication, at DePaul University. Her teaching and research revolve around issues related to Latin American cinemas, globalization and media, cultural studies, documentary studies and film historiography. She has published in Cinema Journal, Cultural Dynamics, Communication Teacher, Transnational Cinemas and Studies in Hispanic Cinemas, among other journals. She is also a contributor to several compilations, such as, Global Cinema Networks (2018) and The Routledge Companion to Latin-American Cinemas (2018).
