Lynn Setterington
Lynn Setterington is senior lecturer in textiles in practice at the Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. She is a British textile artist and academic known for her hand-stitched textiles and innovative collaborative projects which explore societal issues and injustices. Her doctoral study (2019) at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, examined the hidden values and tensions in shared embroidery practice. Setterington has worked with a wide range of community groups, museums and galleries including the Brontë Parsonage Museum, Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council and Sreepur Village in Bangladesh.
