Lynne Kent

Lynne Kent is a puppeteer, artist, collaborator and researcher based in Melbourne, Australia. Her work embraces shadow puppetry, performance art, installation work and visual art. She is interested in the creative potential of puppetry to transcend, to break boundaries and to communicate with all kinds of peoples. She has a practice-led Ph.D. titled ‘Mesh Theatre: The intermedial life of images, objects and puppets’. She engages in interdisciplinary dialogue across the fields of new materialism, digital media, screen studies, theatre and performance. Her work can be seen and heard at www.thingmaking.net.
