M. Nyssim Lefford
M. Nyssim Lefford developed an interdisciplinary perspective of music production and recording by working in both industry and academia, in numerous artistic, engineering and scientific contexts. Her research investigates the underlying creative, perceptual and cognitive processes of the producer’s decision making. She received her Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for investigations into the perceptions of music creators in situ. Currently, she is a member of the faculty in the audio technology programme at Luleå University of Technology.
