Maaret Koskinen
Maaret Koskinen is professor emeritus at the Department of Media Studies, Stockholm University. She was the first scholar given access to Ingmar Bergman’s private papers, which led to the formation of the Bergman Foundation. She was also board member of the Swedish Film Institute between 2011 and 2016. Her books include Ingmar Bergman’s The Silence: Pictures in the Typewriter, Writings on the Screen (University of Washington Press, 2010), and Ingmar Bergman y sus primeros escrito: En el principio era la palabra (Shangrila, 2018). Forthcoming publications include Ingmar Bergman at the Crossroads: Between Theory and Practice (Bloomsbury, 2022) and Now about All These Women in the Swedish Film Industry (Bloomsbury, 2023).
