Maggie Grant is a research fellow at the Centre for Child Wellbeing and Protection, University of Stirling, and a research associate at the Adoption and Fostering Alliance Scotland. She has worked on a range of research projects about children and families and is a co-investigator of the ‘Permanently Progressing?’ study, a national study of permanence for children in Scotland who became ‘looked after’ aged five or under. Most of her work focuses on children living in kinship, foster and adoptive families, and separated migrant children, and she is particularly interested in the process of translating research for a wide range of audiences.
