Maggie Magor
Maggie Magor is the Post-doctoral Research Assistant for an AHRC-funded Creativity project in the Centre for Cultural Policy Research at the University of Glasgow. Prior to this position, she was Research Fellow at TRC (an independent charity which provides training and research for the creative content industry) in Glasgow, and has also taught in the Department of Film, Media & Journalism at the University of Stirling, and the Sociology Department at Lancaster University. She gained her doctorate in 2006, which explores how working women are represented in the contemporary news media. She is also currently Editorial Assistant for the academic journal Media, Culture and Society.
