Mahdi Safa
Mahdi Safa is a faculty member in the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston. He is presently pursuing research on the development of construction project processes, supply chain management, operation management, maritime/coastal/port management and integration of management fundamentals and principles, interdisciplinary approaches and emerging technologies to address new opportunities such as smart manufacturing, smart asset management systems and multimodal transportation. Mahdi has grown to value exceptional communication among technical disciplines and has focused on taking an interdisciplinary approach in his research. His participation in large-scale collaborative projects provides him with the knowledge and vision to contribute to such an environment.
