Mai Hunt
Mai Hunt is a Ph.D. candidate at Brown University in the Department of Hispanic Studies. She received her BA in romance languages and literatures from Harvard University in 2014. Her interests include intergenerational narratives of trauma, memory and inheritance in contemporary Spanish and Latin American literature and film. She is currently working on a dissertation that examines the use of both fictional and autobiographical family narratives in contemporary Colombia to confront the country’s history of violence and internal armed conflict.
