Maja Babić

Maja Babić is an architectural historian and a critic. She is an assistant professor of the history and theory of architecture and urbanism at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. She studies state socialist and post-socialist spaces and links between architecture, politics, and urban identity in the former Yugoslavia and East-Central Europe in the twentieth- and twenty-first centuries. Her current project examines the notion of state socialist housing as heritage. Babić has presented her work at international conferences and symposia and has published her research widely.
