Maja Luther
Maja Luther is a figure skating choreographer and artist based in Zurich, Switzerland. She has choreographed solo and group work for international competitors and professional shows, before engaging in dance studies in 2015. She has been exploring the interdisciplinary space between figure skating and other artforms such as poetry or contemporary dance and completed her MA in creative practice in February 2021 at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She incorporates the findings of this research into her teaching method, leads somatic-based workshops for figure skaters to develop somatic awareness, movement style and efficiency and continues to engage in interdisciplinary creative practice to develop artistic work with and on ice.
