Mandy Carr

Dr Mandy Carr is a dramatherapist, trainer and clinical supervisor. Formerly a senior lecturer in dramatherapy at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, she is interested in the connections between religion, spirituality and therapy. Her main research interest includes improving intercultural, interfaith and interpolitical dialogue through the arts. Having worked with vulnerable children and adolescents in urban areas, she is now in private practice. Her doctoral research explores spiritual and religious identities within dramatherapy. Publications include 2018’s ‘Dramatherapy and religion: (Un)comfortable bedfellows? In honour of Dr Roger Grainger’ (with Ditty Dokter), Dramatherapy, 39:1, pp. 16–28; and 2016’s ‘Dramatherapy across languages’, in D. Dokter and M.
