Manuel Medina

Manuel Medina teaches at the University of Louisville. He has published extensively and read papers at international and domestic conferences on topics related to his main areas of research and professional interests, such as Latin American and US Latino fiction and film. His book on Mexican historical fiction, Archivo y discurso: la novela histórica mexicana (1980–1994), was published in 2013. He has edited and co-edited several books related to the Latin American, Mexican and Ecuadorian cultural productions. Medina is the current president of the Asociación de Ecuatorianistas. His study of contemporary Ecuadorian film is forthcoming.
