Manuela Mariani

Manuela Mariani is an architect and assistant director of the Foundation Studios at the Boston Architectural College, where she is part of the design studio faculty. After working in Italy and the Netherlands, she moved to the United States where she practised at a number of architecture firms on the West Coast. In San Francisco, she co-founded the firm Intadesign, and since moving to Boston has designed a number of residential projects. She previously collaborated with Patrick Barron on the article ‘Cinematic Space in Rome’s Disabitato’ in Modernism/Modernity (2011), and on the book Terrain Vague: Interstices at the Edge of the Pale (2013).
