Marcello Messina
Marcello Messina is the chief researcher at Southern Federal University, Russia, where he teaches cultural history and international relations. He also works in the fields of music, language and cultural studies with the Federal Universities of Paraíba and Acre, both in Brazil. He has authored chapters on cinema and screen studies in the volumes Eve’s Sinful Bite (eds C. Bernardi, F. Calamita and D. De Feo) (Bloomsbury, 2020) and Sicily on Screen (ed. G. Summerfield) (McFarland, 2020). His screen-related articles have appeared in Organised Sound, Simultanea, Gender/Sexuality/Italy and Journal of Italian Cinema & Media Studies.
