Marcia Allison
Dr Marcia Allison is a postdoctoral researcher at the Earth Sciences Communication Initiative, University of Southern California (USC). She also holds a Ph.D. in communication from the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism at USC. Her research focuses on the intersection of ideology, rhetoric, biopolitics and cultural memory in the creation of environmental social change and social equality in contemporary mediatized societies. Dr Allison’s postdoctoral work bridges this scholarly research with public outreach in the curation of a digital climate change journalism archive in conjunction with the Los Angeles Times.
