Dr Maree Sheehan (Ngāti Maniapoto-Waikato, Ngāti Tuwharetoa, Ngāti Tahu-Ngāti Whāoa, Irish ancestry) is a sound artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. She is the head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies in the School of Art and Design, Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in New Zealand.
