Margaret A. Powell
Margaret Powell received her Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapies – Drama Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal, QC. She is a Mental Health Counselor for the University of Rochester Medical Center Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services, in Rochester, NY. She also offers drama therapy programmes for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders locally. Her research interests involve the use of play, drama and creative processes to develop social and emotional skills in children and across the lifespan, and she has presented nationally and internationally. She currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Dramascope, the official blog of the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA).
