María-Ángeles Chaparro-Domínguez

María-Ángeles Chaparro-Domínguez is an associate professor. Her main lines of research are disinformation, journalistic artificial intelligence, computational journalism and media coverage. She has two six-year research periods recognized by the Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora (CNEAI), supported by more than fifty publications, of which 43 are research articles published in journals such as Journalism Practice, Environmental Communication or Young. She has participated in seven funded research projects. In 2015, she was invited by the SINTEF research centre, in Oslo (Norway), in order to develop a postdoctoral stay. She has participated in twenty international conferences and has given invited lectures on journalism and online communication at the CEU San Pablo University, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the Rioja Youth Institute.
