Maria Bella
Dr Maria Bella is an adapted physical educator who is specialized in autism spectrum disorders and theatrical play in educational praxis. She has completed postgraduate studies in physical education and sport sciences by Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). Furthermore, she has an M.Sc. in pedagogic and creative learning (DUTH) and her Ph.D. is relevant to school psychology (AUTH). She worked for many years in private and public health institutions for children with autism and recent years she is working in public special education schools. She has many researchable articles about the creativity in physical education for children with autism, and she speaks four languages, English, German, Italian, and Greek as native language. She has already published a science book about theatrical play and physical education for children with autism for a German Academic Publishing Organization, and finally she has a degree in sign language and also a degree in braille system for people with blindness.
