Maria Catena Mancuso
Maria Catena Mancuso is an independent scholar on media, migration and humanitarian aid. She currently co-writes and co-hosts Sulla Razza, a podcast that aims to translate words and concepts that have theoretical relevance in the Anglo-American racial discourse into Italian – race, colourism, fair-skin privilege, one-drop rule, etc. Sulla Razza is powered by Juventus Football Club, produced by Undermedia and available on Vice Italy with extra content. She is also the co-author and co-host of S/Confini, a podcast focusing on migration from and towards Italy. She writes for Vice Italy magazine and co-authored an article with Anna Finozzi mapping online postcolonial spaces in Italy, appeared on the online magazine The Submarine on 3 November 2020.
