Maria Gabriella Trovato
Maria Gabriella Trovato is an associate professor in the department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Landscape and Society, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway. In 2003, she received her Ph.D. in landscape architecture from the Universities of Reggio Calabria and Naples. Trovato’s most recent research focuses on landscapes and social/environmental justice, landscape in emergencies, and landscape mapping and planning innovations. Since 2017, she has been the Chair of the International Federation of Landscape Architects-Landscape Architects Without Borders working group. She has worked in Canada and in several countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
