Maria I. Koutsouba

Maria I. Koutsouba is full professor of choreology with emphasis on Greek traditional dance at the School of Physical Education and Sports Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is also a tutor of open and distance education at the Hellenic Open University. Her research interests and publications focus on culture (humanities), arts (dance and performing arts), education (intercultural, distance, school and adult, formal and non-formal, etc.), cultural tourism and performance of identities and intangible cultural heritage. She has also presented to international and national organizations, and she is engaged in educational activities with colleagues and students from all over the world in internationally oriented environments. She has participated extensively in large-scale conferences, as well as many scientific publications in Greece and abroad.
