Maria Johanna Schouten
Maria Johanna Schouten earned her Ph.D. in social and cultural sciences from VU University Amsterdam. She is an associate professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Covilhã, and a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences (CICS.NOVA.UMinho).
