Maria Sourbati
Dr Maria Sourbati is senior lecturer in the School of Media at the University of Brighton. Her research questions focus on technology governance, age, innovation, digital literacy and social inclusion. Her interdisciplinary research is cited in the areas of communication and media studies, communications policy, disability studies and sociology and social work. Her research results have impact beyond the academy for social work, advocacy and policy including the UK Department of Trade and Industry and the Consumer Federation of America. Her research has been supported by national and local authorities, as well as international research funding organizations.
