Maria T. Nicolas-Gavilan
Maria T. Nicolas-Gavilan (Ph.D. in communication by the Universidad de Navarra, Spain) has been a member of the National Research System SNI since 2011. She has been the visiting researcher at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Fordham University in the United States, the Sacro Cuore Catholic University of Milan, and the College of Social and Media Culture in Torun, Poland. She is the author of multiple articles published in international journals and has contributed with books related to international journalism and ethics of the media. She has been the president for the Ethics Working Group at the International Association of Media Communication Research (IAMCR) since 2015. Currently she is the Academic Provost at Universidad Panamericana.
