Marie-Laurence Paquette
Marie-Laurence Paquette has recently completed her Ph.D. at Southern Cross University, Australia. After completing her bachelor’s (Canada) and master’s (Brazil) degrees with environmental focuses, she redirected her focus on community engagement to bring Earth sciences knowledge to communities. Her current professional and academic projects are designed to expand the scope of understanding of social change associated with planetary conditions and the Earth system as a whole. Marie-Laurence is passionate about addressing humanity’s challenges ahead, especially the ones associated with ethical decision-making and threats to the life support system.
