Marin Leggat Roper

Marin Leggat Roper is assistant professor of dance at Brigham Young University, where she teaches studio and lecture courses including contemporary technique, composition, writing for dance, Laban movement analysis, dance history and dance pedagogy. Her creative and scholarly research explores the relationship between spiritual and creative practice, with focus on the body as a site of embodied learning and divine intelligence. Besides university teaching, she also enjoys teaching Moving Out Loud!, a movement and leadership programme inspiring ‘Bold Living and Bold Leading’ for girls and women through applied somatic movement principles.
